It's Finished

This morning, at approximately 9:50, my dad went home to Heaven. My family was all there gathered around him as he breathed his last breath. Mom called me over early this morning because she knew that his time was short.

For those who didn't know, this has been a really long and difficult road. The last couple of weeks have been really rough. Dad stopped eating and talking for the most part last week. I was one of the last ones that he talked to, and all that he was able to tell me was "I love you." Dad had a seizure earlier this week and never really woke up after that. He just became weaker and weaker until he couldn't draw breath anymore. The whole family was able to say goodbye as Jesus was welcoming him home.

The plan is for the funeral to be on Tuesday at 11:00. The viewing will be from 4:00 - 8:00 on Monday. Thank you all for your prayers.
